Our Microsoft Ignite Session Recording is Now Available to View!
Hello everyone!
I just got back from Microsoft Ignite, where Michal Bar and I had a wonderful time presenting on “Learn new ways to apply Access to the modern Microsoft ecosystem”. We discussed a few great topics, one of which is how to consume Azure services with Access.
We should have the sample application on the Microsoft Technical Blog soon, in the mean time you can see our presentation in the video below.
Indeed a very interesting Video and great to see that Microsoft is committed to evolving the Product further. I understand that VBA is here to stay (which is of course very good) but nevertheless it would be amazing if a Javascript API would be introduced as an alternative which could be used parallel to VBA. For Excel People this is already happening.
Any news or hints on this?
Since the comments don’t get a reply, I’d like to strike a blow for the misuse and overuse of “oftentimes” which is an unnecessary replacement for “often” and you can hear it many times throughout the video 😛
PS hope you don’t mind posted a link to the video on Access Programmers UK
Juan – great talk and thanks for putting this out there at a top event. Shows the power of the technology when combined to take advantage of the sweet spots of each product.
At 9:56 in the video, Juan says, “This is the web app that we created”; aren’t Access Web Apps going to be soon discontinued?
