We’ve been receiving reports of Access not closing correctly on various versions. As far as we know, this impacts those on current and monthly enterprise. Those on the build 2408 will find that the Access no longer closes correctly and instead leaves behind a ghost process that needs to be killed in Task Manager.
We usually recommend to our client to use Semi-Annual channel to ensure the most stability and we have verified that switching to Semi-Annual helps avoids the issue of Access not closing. We have updated the instructions on how to change the channels that you can either execute if you are an administrator of your own machine or to submit to your IT provider for assistance.
