This year, I had the privilege of helping host multiple sessions at Microsoft Ignite, the annual conference where the tech giant showcases its latest advancements. It was an extra-special experience, as the event took place in my home city of Chicago.
If I had to sum up the conference in one word, it would be AI. Every session, every announcement, and every innovation revolved around artificial intelligence. Two standout highlights were:

CoPilot: The UI for AI
One of the overarching themes of Ignite was that CoPilot is becoming the user interface for AI. This powerful technology will define how users interact with AI in the coming years. I was particularly inspired by the demos showing how CoPilot can revolutionize tasks like composing emails, analyzing data, and answering complex queries.
We’ve been using CoPilot for Office for a few months now at IT Impact, and while it’s not yet the ultimate “must-have” tool at $35 per employee, I firmly believe it will become just that in the near future. The challenge ahead? Translating these remarkable capabilities into tangible productivity gains for our clients.
2025: The Year of AI at IT Impact
As we prepare for the year ahead, AI is front and center in our planning. Each department at IT Impact will be tasked with finding ways to leverage AI to enhance performance, customer service, and profitability. Before we ask our clients to invest in these tools, we want to ensure we’ve made a strong case internally, proving the value of AI in real-world applications.
