Teams SMB Council Advisor • 30+ Years of Microsoft Access Experience
Juan Soto — 14x Microsoft Access MVP
For more than 30 years, businesses have trusted Juan Soto to protect, modernize, and grow the Microsoft Access databases their operations depend on. Today that trust extends beyond his clients — Microsoft has recognized Juan as an MVP every year for over a decade, and invited him to help shape how small and medium businesses use Microsoft’s technology.

Meet Juan Soto
Juan Soto founded Access Experts in 1994 on a simple belief: that a Microsoft Access database, built and maintained correctly, can carry a business much further than most people expect. Over 32 years working with Microsoft Access, he and his team have designed, modernized, or rescued the databases running day-to-day operations for businesses across the US and Canada — from small shops to organizations managing millions of records.
Along the way, Microsoft has taken notice — not just of the work Juan does for clients, but of what he gives back to the wider Access community.
FEATURED BY MICROSOFT
14 consecutive Microsoft MVP awards
The Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) award recognizes technology experts who share their knowledge with others — through speaking, writing, mentoring, and answering questions in the community. It isn’t handed out once and kept forever: Microsoft reviews the prior twelve months of contributions before renewing it every year, and only an estimated 1–2% of the global MVP population maintains the award for a decade or more. Juan has earned that renewal 14 years in a row.
32 years of Microsoft Access experience
Juan has worked with Microsoft Access since its early versions — long before most of today’s IT teams were founded — and through every major shift in how businesses use it. That same depth is what makes his more recent work possible: helping clients prepare their Access data for AI tools, Power BI, and Copilot.
