Session Description:
SQL Server makes a great companion to Access: Data Security, Large Data Sets, rich SQL language and ease of use make it an ideal choice for any size Access implementation. There are many challenges to leveraging SQL Server technology and this session will discuss: Importing data, configuring tables optimally, understanding how Access connects with SQL Server and bypassing Access altogether when executing SQL statements from VBA. I’ll be providing code samples, demos and great tips along the way. We will conclude with an extended Q&A at the end, where I will answer questions and help with your SQL Server/Access issues. Attendees will gain a much better understanding of how to leverage the combined power of SQL Server and Access. This is the same presentation I’ve been making at SQLSaturday.com events, it’s a can’t miss opportunity to further your knowledge on this topic.
Special offer for area IT Directors, Businesses and Access Consultants
I’ll be in Farmington CT from October 11th through the 13th and have a very limited amount of spots available for private consultations. If you are interested in using SQL Server at your firm with Access or wish to expand your SQL Server use please contact me here to setup a private appointment while I am at your area. I’ll be visiting with area clients so spots are very limited, please book as soon as possible to take advantage of this offer.
About the Presenter
Juan Soto, is a frequent speaker at user groups nationwide. He’s also the only Access professional to speak at SQL Server Saturdays, where he helps DBAs leverage the power of SQL with Access. Hi, Lee.
Thanks for asking; it already has happened few weeks ago (during October). However, do keep checking the blog for any upcoming events.
Hi Juan,
What day is this talk?
Thanks,
